Ep #46: Growing Healthy Teeth with Dr. Sarah Adams

Mind Body Mouth with Dr. Vijaya Molloy | Growing Healthy Teeth with Dr. Sarah Adams

Something that I think should happen more often is for doctors and dentists to collaborate, as there is so much we can learn from one another. So this week, I’m interviewing paediatrician Dr. Sarah Adams on the different strategies we can use as parents to ensure our children grow up with healthier teeth.

There are so many issues that surface in adulthood as a result of not having good oral health in childhood. Our knowledge and the science behind our health are constantly evolving, and what worked for our grandparents might not necessarily work for our children. So this week, we’re diving deeper into how to maintain good oral health for children in the newborn stage right through to adulthood.

Listen in this week and hear some of the tips and tools Dr. Sarah uses to help her patients to maintain good oral health. We discuss the reasons we recommend what we do to our patients, the positive impacts that good oral health has upon our lives, some recommendations that children receive regarding their health that may not be as effective as people believe, and some tips to help you motivate your children to be mindful of their oral and dental health.

I have a crazy busy lifestyle, and the only way I can sustain it is by putting specific habits in place to ensure I have enough energy to get through the day. And I’m sharing the secret with you! I have put all this information together into an easy-to-follow online course: Bounce Out of Bed With Energy: The 5 Week Reset for Exhausted Women.
